SPS recipe examples
===================

hello/ is a small offline package used by the test suite and as a starting
point for new recipes.

    cd examples/hello
    mkpkg --no-download --compression none

Local source paths are resolved from the recipe directory. Downloaded or copied
sources are available below $SRC. Tar sources are unpacked below $WORK; when an
archive contains one top-level directory, that directory becomes $WORK.
Every source has a corresponding `hash sha256:...` record with exactly 64
hexadecimal digits. Checksums cannot be skipped.

The install phase writes into $PKG. It must not install directly into the live
root. At least one install record and a non-empty payload are required.

If files/ or patches/ exist beside the recipe, mkpkg copies them to $SRC/files
and $SRC/patches. Recipes apply patches and install local files explicitly.

Use `arch any` only for architecture-independent packages. Compiled recipes can
omit `arch` to use the configured target architecture. See
`../PACKAGE-MAINTAINER.md` for the full recipe and test procedure.
