SPS Linux live Plasma (Splux)
This disc boots a Plasma session on Wayland if the machine that built
it already had a working Plasma stack. NVIDIA hardware uses nouveau;
proprietary nvidia modules are blacklisted so they cannot load next
to KWin.
Open Konsole and run:
setup
Guided partitioning is in setup. If Plasma does not start, switch to
tty2 (Ctrl-Alt-F2) for a root shell.
Optional: setup --plan --profile plasma-full --target /mnt
Recipes for sps-core and sps-extra are in /usr/src/sps. Package builds
run on this live system into the mounted target. A from-source Plasma
install compiles Qt and KDE and takes a long time. This live session is
the host stack copied at ISO build time.
